We had a great e-bike ride with Daniele around Lake Trasimeno. The views of the lake were amazing. By riding a bike we got multiple views of the lake along the way. It was breathtaking! The ride was challenging at times with all of the mountain terrain but Daniele did a great job of planning a path with both climbs and flat land to not be too difficult. After we finished our ride, Daniele recommended a fantastic Agrotourism restaurant for us to enjoy lunch. Not touristy at all. A true local's perspective of the area. It was just what we were looking for!
Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Trasimeno by bike with a knowledgeable and helpful guide, like Daniele.

Daniele gave us an outstanding bike tour through the beautiful hills just south of Montepulciano. The bikes were high quality and very comfortable. Daniele was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the ride both fun and informative. He was kind enough to meet us at a location of our choice to make the start more convenient. Along the way, he took us to a charming small town for a coffee break, and we finished at a lovely vineyard with excellent wine tasting and snacks. The entire experience was memorable and well organized. I highly recommend this tour.

Daniele is an incredible guide who speaks English and led a wonderful E-Bike tour for my clients last October 1 (4 adults at their 60s-70s) through the charming hamlets around Lake Trasimeno, offering truly breathtaking views. He was exceptionally responsive and reliable, promptly answering all my queries via email in the best possible way. My clients had a smooth, enjoyable tour and absolutely loved the experience.

It was a real pleasure riding through such varied terrain, and Daniele did a great job tailoring the route to suit the group. We covered 33 km and enjoyed every moment of the ride near Lago Trasimeno.

My son and I rented 2 gravel bikes with a self guided tour. Daniele responded right away to my email request. The bikes were nice models and in good shape. They came with a pump, lock, phone holder, and helmet. Daniele provided 2 GPX and Komoot files, 26 km (470 m climbing) and 46 km (730 m climbing). They both start the same, and at the decision point, we decided on the shorter option. The routes were great: a good combination of different surfaces (road, gravel, and some easy single track) and provided a variety of landscapes and views. We had a great time. This is a good option if you have (some) experience riding a race or gravel bike and want decide your own pace.
We had a great Bike and eBike tour with Daniele in the Lago Trasimeno area. Daniele took us (on eBike) and the kids (age of early twenty) on a very nice bike trip and a coffee stop in Panicale. We combined it with a wine tasting and food pairing. Many thanks Daniele !

Danielle was a wonderful guide and a very enjoyable ride for all levels of bike riders. It was a highlight of our vacation. We are a family of 4. Daniele ci ha accolti nel suo territorio facendoci scoprire luoghi bellissimi e raccontandoci un po’ di storia del luogo. Ci ha spiegato il funzionamento della bici con cura prima della partenza assicurandosi che fossimo pronti a partire. Che dire, le tre ore sono volate, abbiamo fatto varie tappe lungo il percorso e abbiamo goduto di panorami meravigliosi. Consiglierei sicuramente una visita guidata in bici con lui, per visitare la zona del lago Trasimeno in modo sostenibile, divertente e con una guida super!
What can we say but wow. The whole experience was well organised with clear instructions on what was happening and where we were meeting. The bike tour with Riccardo was breathtaking taking and to finish off with Anna taking us though the wine tasting paired with the yummy food was second to none. Tracey and I would recommend this experience to anyone.

What a lovely way to spend a morning in Umbria! Daniele was very communicative upfront. We met a bit earlier due to higher temps and it worked out. Morning ride was so nice through the countryside. Fields full of sunflowers, olive trees and vineyards as far as you can see. Il Poggio wine tasting was amazing! We'll be enjoying some of their wine when we return home to Seattle, WA.
My husband and I loved this bike ride through the Umbrian countryside with Daniele. Was a wonderful way to see the area and stop at a quaint little village for un cafe! Would definitely recommend this no matter what your fitness level as it can be adjusted. Loved riding the electric bike!
Excellent experience of cycling on e-bikes in beautiful Umbria, combined with a lovely wine tasting and lunch at a small wine farm. Danielle went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable, cycling with us in the rain, and taking us back to Perugia. Great value for money!
This was the best part of our Italy Trip. Daniele was very kind and knowledgeable. At no time did any in our part feel u safe. We had 6 adults ranging in age from 22-50. It was fun for everyone and all skill levels, my son is an avid mountain biker and I am a 45 year old work from home lady that only rides Pelotons. The region is gorgeous, the ride was not difficult and the bikes were impeccable. The stop for a mid ride cappuccino was great! I will recommend this to all of my family and friends that travel to

We recently returned from spending a week in Southeastern Tuscany with three other couples. Having been to Italy previously, we were looking for different ways to truly enjoy the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. While researching ideas a few months in advance of our trip, my wife found The Wandering Bike - Bike Tours and Rental, and what a great find it was!! Our tour guide was Daniele Toccacelo (and I believe owner), and he was fantastic, as was his colleague. Our group wasn't made of Olympic Athletes, so their patience was fantastic as everyone became familiar with the electric bikes and how to maximize the electric motor.
Once we got going, Daniele did a great job of leading the group through the local hills and countryside. We also stopped several times along the way for him to provide us some local Roman War history that took place where we were at given moments of the tour. They also did a great job of keeping the pace in line with the abilities of the overall group, never making anyone feel pressured to keep up. If you are looking for something different to do that allows you to cover quite a bit of territory and see the beautiful countryside at the same time, then I would highly recommend exploring The Wandering Bike - Bike Tours and Rental.
